For Easter and the organization of festive activities in their constituency, each senator would have received 1 million gourdes and each deputy 500,000 gourdes in grant, despite criticism from more than one, who see in these payments a form of corruption, others see it as an advantage for some parliamentarians to campaign at the expense of the State.

Deputy Cholzer Chancy reminded the critics that these amounts were planned in the budget of the Parliament for the patronal feasts, the Easter and the back to school, saying that parliamentarians must submit a report of their expenses, which makes smile more than one observer...
