iciHaiti - USA : Towards specialized training for SWAT

Nicholas Hilgert, Director of the International Bureau of Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) of the United States Embassy in Haiti, along with other INL staff and Embassy staff, visited in Port-au-Prince, the SWAT unit of the National Police of Haiti (PNH).
The Director discussed opportunities for SWAT personnel to participate in future INL-funded leadership, infiltration tactics, and ballistic shield training.
Embassy staff also offered live-fire training at the Haitian National Police school. We were pleased to be joined by Keith Grounsell, U.S. United Nations Police - UNPOL Advisor of the UN Mission for Justice Support (MINUJUSTH).
