As part of a solidarity day recently organized for the mentally ill of the Mars & Kline Neuropsychiatric University Hospital Center by the 4th year students of Medicine at the University of Lumière, on the theme "Acting for the mentally ill", the Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti (FOLONHA ) and the company "Glory Industries", provided technical and logistical support for this day.

103 mentally ill patients, including 63 men and 40 women from the Mars & Kline Neuropsychiatric Hospital Center, received donations of basic necessities, including clothing, footwear and hygiene kits. These committed students affirmed that this initiative organized on the sidelines of the 25th anniversary of the Lumière University, aimed to mobilize the population as decision-makers in order to change their eyes and also to become aware of the difficulties encountered by people with behavioral disorders.

The Lorquet Foundation and Glory Industries believe that it is an obligation to support initiatives of this kind and encourage young doctors to get involved and to be more at the service of Haiti.
