On Monday, the eve of the vote on Venezuela as part of the 48th General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS), US Vice President Mike Pence and his wife invited to a reception at the White House, 22 countries that support the US initiative to sanction the regime of President Nicolas Maduro whose electoral process is challenged internationally.

The United States seeking Haiti's vote against the Bolivarian Republic has not sent any invitation to Haitian diplomats at this reception, considered for the countries invited by Mike Pence as "a small mark of appreciation."

We must remember this little phrase from US Vice President Mike Pence who said to his guests "I will make a promise to you. Stand with us and know that we will stay with you. Work with us and we will work with you" a message that could not be clearer and a thinly veiled for countries that will not align with the US resolution.
