iciHaiti - Weather : NOTICE of floods and landslides maintained
While the Beryl storm downgraded to active tropical wave caused Tuesday, strong winds, heavy rains and flooding in the south of the Dominican Republic, the Hydro Meteorological Unit (UHM) maintains, for the whole of Haiti, its notice of floods and landslides, launched Monday in collaboration with the Directorate of Civil Protection (CPD) and the Permanent Secretariat for Risk Management (SPGRD) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24908-haiti-flash-notice-of-floods-and-landslides.html

The wave is already moving on Haiti causing rain and storms. Stormy showers are expected gradually in the late afternoon and evening, mainly in Southeast, South, Grande-Anse, West, Center, Artibonite, Northeast and North. Isolated gusts of wind will accompany these showers.

Therefore, the DPC calls on the population to be vigilant. If thundershowers and strong winds, the inhabitants and residents of flood risk areas, landslide and mudslide, must scrupulously apply the usual safety precautions.

These poor weather conditions are also forecast at sea, and the SPGRD invites small boats to be cautious near the coast and to avoid venturing offshore.
