iciHaiti - Riots : Arrest of 64 individuals accused of looting and destruction of property

Me Clamé Ocnam Daméus, the Government Commissioner at the Court of First Instance (TPI) of Port-au-Prince, confirms that 64 individuals were arrested during the events occurred last weekend in the metropolitan region. They are accused in particular of "looting and destruction of property", adding that seals were affixed to a house in Pétion-ville where stolen goods were stored.
Me Daméus informs that he has received instructions from the Government to put public action in motion against the perpetrators and accomplices of all acts of violence and vandalism in his jurisdiction.
