On Saturday, in front of the federal offices of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), on Saint-Antoine Street, in Montreal, the Solidarity Without Borders network (involved in immigrant struggles, active in Montreal since 2003), organized a sit-in of several hours to demand an immediate moratorium on deportations of Haitians illegally arrived in Canada.

A few dozen activists from the network have denounced the Federal Government, which on the one hand recommends that Canadians avoid all non-essential travel to Haiti because of the climate of insecurity, but on the other hand continues to carry out deportations of Haitian citizens to Haiti.
