This earthquake was also felt in Port-au-Prince and its surroundings, across all departments.

Mayor Ralph Youri Chevry, in his own name and on behalf of the Municipal Administration, presents his sympathies to the people of North-West, North and Artibonite; of the district of Port-de-Paix and the other cities that have been affected by this earthquake.

The Mayor Chevry welcomes the mobilization of all those who are currently engaged to assist the populations affected by this tragedy and renews its sympathies to the municipalities and victims and joins their distress and mourning.
