As part of the first qualifying phase of the U-20 Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) for the 2019 FIFA World Cup Poland (May 2019), after their first win against St. Lucia [1-0] Thursday, November 1 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26007-haiti-poland-2019-the-grenadiers-win-their-first-qualifying-match.html , our Grenadiers U-20 crusched [4-0] Bermuda, Saturday, November 3 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton (Florida) before losing Monday, November 5 [1-0] against the Ticos of Costa Rica. However with 5 points our Grenadiers were confident of being qualified for the second qualifying round...
Unfortunately, Friday the overwhelming victory over Saint Lucia [6-0] against Costa Rica (4 matchs, 4 wins, 14 goals scored 0 cashed) pushed back our Grenadiers of the standings, ending their dream of participation in the second round qualifying round of the 2019 Poland World Cup.
Eliminated, our Grenadiers U-20 will leave the United States this Saturday, November 10 to Haiti
