Haiti - Insecurity : Robbery of a minibus in Pétion-ville, 2 injured by bullets

Wednesday afternoon on the street Panamericaine, on the outskirts of "Ti Saint-Pierre" in Pétion-ville two unidentified individuals attacked a minibus in which were two employees of the Hotel Oasis, who carried a certain amount of money whose the amount has not been disclosed.
At least one person aboard the minibus was shot and wounded during the robbery. Police officers from the Haitian National Police (PNH) nearby intervened quickly and shots were exchanged with the attackers causing an injury at the police, while the individuals managed to escape with their booty. The injured were rushed to the hospital, Inspector Gary Desrosiers, deputy spokesman for the PNH, informed.
