Following the revelations in the press about the waste, the squandering of funds and the corruption that reigns in the central office of the OFATMA in Port-au-Prince, made by members of the Union of the Accident Insurance Office of the Work, Sickness and Maternity (OFATMA), some trade unionists have received death threats and others have been transferred to Jeremiah in retaliation, we learned from a reliable source.

The Office's unionized employees asked the Central Financial Intelligence Unit (UCREF) and the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Disputes (CSC/CA) to open an investigation into the numerous cases of corruption and squandering of funds administered by the Direction of the OFATMA.
