As part of the 23rd anniversary of the Intervention and Maintenance Corps (CIMO), Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) joins the staff of the police institution, all grades and functions to wish all members of this unit a happy birthday.
"On this day when you are celebrating a new spring, I salute the know-how of this body which, just yesterday, under the stones and the ardor of the sun, has shown professionalism. It is also an opportunity for me to recognize the spirit of discipline that characterizes this unit for 23 years despite the solitary actions of certain elements...
I encourage you to remain professional and to put the respect of the human rights at the center of all your interventions in spite of the physical and moral tiredness following this war of attrition of the last days. The country will be grateful to you."
