According to the Haitian organization Technical and Operational Services for Accident (STOP-accidents), the last weekend balance (February 22-24, 2019), conducted in partnership with the National Ambulance Center and the Haitian Red Cross, amounted to 23 accidents, 61 wounded and 7 people dead on the premises or at the hospital.

The former Director of the Center Ambulancier National Michel Garnel, Coordinator of STOP-accident, said that these accidents occurred among others at Cornillon, Fort Liberté, Aquin, Leogane and Delmas 105. He calls on motorists and pedestrians to caution and the relevant state authorities to assume their responsibilities.
