iciHaiti - League of Nations : Haiti - Cuba at Sylvio Cator Stadium
In the context of the League of Caribbean Nations of the Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF), a CONCACAF Commission visited Haiti at the end of February in order to evaluate the Sylvio Cator stadium and its perimeter, in view of holding the match Haiti - Cuba, on March 24.

Following this visit, Yves Jean Bart, the President of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) and Youri Chevry the Mayor of Port-au-Prince gave the members of the Commission guarantees in terms of security, promising that the match could be held at the Sylvio Cator stadium in a peaceful and safe environment...

It remains now for the Government to make sure that this promise of security is not just words, otherwise this meeting could be moved or worse our Grenadiers could lose this game by forfeit.

Recall that our Grenadiers with 3 wins : [13-0] against St-Marteen https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-25499-haiti-league-of-nations-the-grenadiers-pulverize-saint-marteen-[13-0].html , then against St Lucia [2-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-25862-haiti-football-our-grenadiers-win-against-st-lucia-[2-1]-in-a-difficult-match.html and [2-0] against the "Pinoleros" of Nicaragua https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26151-haiti-league-of-nations-haiti-wins-against-nicaragua-[2-0]-and-takes-the-lead.html , are at the top of the rankings and already qualified for the last phase of this League of Nations. Our Grenadiers could settle for a draw against Cuba, without affecting their qualification.
