iciHaiti - Economy : Task force on the prices of basic necessities

As part of the Government's efforts to reduce the cost of living in the country, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI) has created a task force with the Directorate of Internal Trade (DCI), the Directorate of External Trade (DCE) and the Study and Planning Unit (UEP), for the preparation and presentation of a technical report, around the price structure of basic necessities.
This task force, which will be led by Roceny Féné (UEP), will be in charge of producing all the useful analyzes on the cost price of the products on the side of the importer, the wholesaler and the retailer, likely to guide the decision of the authorities concerned. The team will consist of Stéphane Alexis (Minister's Office), Jocelyn Falaise (DCI), Edrens Lassere (DCE) and James Merrinvil (DCI).
For price statements and related analyzes, the Ministry will make available to the Working Group students from the State University of Haiti as part of an existing partnership.
