Organized in the context of the celebration of the International Day of Forests, March 21, a delegation of the Ministry of the Environment led by the Agronomist Eder Audate, Director of Forestry and Renewable Energies in collaboration with the Directorate of Archives, of the Communication, of the Protocol and Informatics (DACPI) is carrying out a tour through several departments of the country notably South, Nippes, Center, NorthEast and the Artibonite.

This inter-departmental tour will allow the members of the delegation to meet leaders of local civil society organizations operating in the environment sector and to take advantage of them to evaluate, support and accompany the actions implemented by these local structures, with a view to ensure that they remain in line with the Ministry's action plan, particularly for effective and sustainable forest management in Haiti.

Several projects of local and governmental initiatives have already been visited by the members of the delegation and a video report is in preparation for more details.
