iciHaiti - Heritage : The Palace of Sans-Souci plebiscite by the Net surfers 31/03/2019 09:38:23
The Palace of Sans-Souci, royal residence of King Christophe, jewels of the city of Milot, came out the winner of the 8th annual photo contest organized by the Archaeological Institute of the Americas by obtaining the vote of more than 28,000 Internet users who have acclaimed this heritage of Haiti, among the sites proposed by 20 countries, in the category monuments. The Ministry of Tourism congratulates the municipality of Milot, who came out the winner of this competition and who works to highlight this place of memory and thank all the compatriots who have conducted a beautiful campaign to encourage the support of Internet users and direct the spotlight on this heritage of Haiti. The Ministry invites the community of Milot to unite to stem the phenomenon of insecurity that threatens access to this heritage recognized by UNESCO since 1982.
