The Ministry of National Education denounces and condemns the unacceptable aggression of a student parent against the Director of Lycée Célie Lamour of Jacmel (SouthEast) within the institution.

The Ministry said that a report from the Departmental Directorate of Education of Southeast indicates that a parent (a security officer), threatened to death the Director because of sanctions against his daughter for an offense committed at school.

The Ministry informs that it has already instructed the judicial authorities for legal proceedings to be initiated in this respect and recalls "school space is an inviolable place. It is the responsibility of all educators and actors to protect the school and its staff in all circumstances for the smooth running of the school."
