Saturday in the capital at the corner of Borgela and Miracles streets, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) prevented a robbery that ended in a sustained exchange of fire between law enforcement and 6 bandits who made 7 victims (6 wounded and one dead).

The incident occurred when 6 armed individuals on several motorcycles were preparing to ransom passengers on a public transport vehicle.

Upon sighting the police patrol, the individuals immediately opened fire on the police who fought back. Summary of the shooting, a bandit killed, 5 others slightly injured who managed to escape on motorcycles and a wounded passerby who was transported to the hospital. On the police side there are no victims.
