As part of the humanitarian cooperation coordinated by the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC) of the Ministry of External Relations, Brazil has donated to Haiti 7.000 doses of human rabies vaccines. to contribute to the efforts of the Haitian health services to prevent the rage in the population.

The vaccines were provided by the Ministry of Health of Brazil, based on the request of the Ministry of Public Health of Haiti, presented at the beginning of April, and processed under emergency regime, the local stock of vaccines in Haiti being exhausted in the midst of increasing cases.

The transport to Port-au-Prince, where the vaccines arrived two days ago was carried out by the Pan-American Health Organization (OPAS).
