On Tuesday, the First Lady of the Republic, Martine Moïse, took part in the inauguration ceremony of the new "Love a Child" maternity building, located in the locality of Fond Parisien (Commune of Ganthier, Dept. Ouest).

This ceremony represented for the inhabitants of this locality, a real reason for satisfaction. This maternity will allow a better management of the health of the mother and the child, as well as better conditions for the follow-up of the pregnancies. The quality of maternal and newborn health services will be improved, reducing the risk of maternal and infant mortality in the region.

The participation of the First Lady in this ceremony reflects the importance attached by the President's wife to improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable Haitian families, especially those of women and children.
