iciHaiti - 3rd ATHENA : Competition on the protection of the environment
Alternative Insurance Company (AIC) in collaboration with the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC), the Alliance for Risk Management and Business Continuity (AGERCA) and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Leadership in Haiti (CEDEL) launched the 3rd edition of ATHENA, a major competition on environmental protection around the theme "Let's act for behavior change and risk transfer".

This year's competition aims to work with a network of CEDEL schools among others : the Daniel Fignolé High School, the Toussaint Louverture High School, the Alexandre Pétion High School, the Marie-Anne College, the Dominique Savio College, the Acacia School, the Methodist College of Brothers. For their part, the DPC and AGERCA will work together as part of the risk management training of the participating teams.

As part of this contest, teams will have to identify a threat in their community and create a project to allow their community to be more resilient to the threat.

Remember that this project is a concrete private sector effort to reduce risks while involving the direct involvement of the education sector.
