iciHaiti - Northeast : Training of elected women

After the South, the Nippes and Grand-Anse, Fednel Monchery Director General of the Ministry of the Interior officially launched the 4th training seminar this time for the benefit of women elected from the North-East Department.
This 4-day training aims to strengthen skills, mainly women Mayors, ASEC, CASEC and City Delegates including on the notions relating in particular to democracy, the roles and responsibilities of municipal officials, practices of good governance and recourse to situations of violence against women and girls, in politics and in social life in general.
This training, where nearly a hundred women elected have taken part, is made possible thanks to the financial support of the Municipal-Canada Cooperation Program (PCM), with the support and commitment of the main federations and associations of local elected officials and the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities.
