iciHaiti - Pre Gold Cup 2019 : The Grenadiers in training 29/05/2019 08:36:40
With a team of 13 very dedicated and motivated players the Haitian national coach Marc Collat started the preparation of the 2019 Gold Cup this Monday, May 27 at IMG Academy. Between the training ground, the Gym and the cold bath, the Grenadiers were in the hard for this first day and without complaining they gave themselves to all the exercises proposed by the technicians, palpable sign that they want to return lift to Marc for the confidence placed in each of them. The players, Johny Placide, Isaac Rouaud Simon, Josué Duverger, Carlens Arcus, Jimmy Bend Alexis, CHarles Hérold Junior, Zachary Hérivaux, Steeven Saba, Bryan Alcéus, Mikael Cantave, Frantzy Pierrot, Hervé Bazile and Jonel Désiré, walked on the natural grass 17 of the gigantic Floridian Sports Center and for one hour they had as usual the warm-up with the physical trainer, Sébastien Lopez-Guia, before joining the main coach Marc Collat for a very intense football game based on the ball recovery, ball conservation and passes between the lines, a kind attack against defense in a reduced area; which naturally requires concentration and a good physical condition. Sébastien Maté, the goalkeeper coach, worked with goaltender Isaac S. Rouaud. Then they joined Lopez-Guia at the gym for some exercises harder than the others, the players were willing and hard despite fatigue. Leonard Pierre, one of the Kines, then supported them for a massage and recovery work with new materials that the FHF, for the sake of doing things professionally, made available to the Medical Staff which contains also Karl Marx Bernadin. Back at the hotel is the bath, the meal and the rest for the Grenadiers who would return to the field in the afternoon again with a demanding session but less intense than that of the morning. The first day of work of the Grenadiers at IMG ended in a cold bath (Cryotherapy) which is very practical in the modern techniques of recovery of athletes, and which reduces aches. Andrew Jean Baptiste arrived Monday evening and will swell the ranks of the Grenadiers who will be 14 at the start of the second day of work of this selection that prepares its participation in the 15th edition of the Gold Cup Concacaf where it will face, in group matches, the national selections of the Bermuda Islands on June 16 in San Jose, Costa Rica, Nicaragua on the 20th in Dallas (Texas) and Costa Rica on June 24 in New Jersey.
