iciHaiti - Social : The new Ati National call for unity
Houngan Carl Henry Desmornes recently elected as National Ati (National Supreme Leader) https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-27819-icihaiti-voodoo-carl-henry-desmornes-new-national-supreme-leader.html was presented by the national confederation of Haitian voodoo practitioners on Tuesday. Carl Henry Desmornes is elected for life but has a probationary period of 7 years, he replaces the provisional Ati Ismaite André.

The new leader of the Haitian voodoo, Carl Henry Desmornes thank all the followers of this popular religion who contributed to his election, calling for the unity of the community of voodoo, divided in particular on the election of a representative of the sector.

The new Ati national is committed to working to structure the sector, to make it stronger for a better recognition in society, also announces the organization of a series of activities during the month of June in different cities of the country.

He will be presented to the spirits on June 21st (celebration of the traditional "spiritual marriage"), and the official ceremony of its installation will take place on August 14 at the kiosk Occide Jeanty in the Champ de Mars, in Port-au-Prince.
