iciHaiti - PNH : 60 women train for physical tests 01/06/2019 09:43:25
Three days a week, they are accompanied by instructors to be ready for the physical tests. They motivate each other to win this challenge to integrate the police institution. Because, according to them, the police is also the business of women. Recall that the rate of representation of women in the PNH is only 9.9% (1,483 women policeofficers out of 14,911) while the constitution requires at least 30%. With this preparatory classroom pilot experience, UN Women and police authorities are working with funding from the Minujusth Community Violence Reduction Program (VCR) to reduce this gap.
