iciHaiti - PNH : An officer of integrity in each departmental direction
Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) in his speech at the ceremony of the 24th anniversary of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) at the police academy on the road of Frères announced that a police officer of integrity will be appointed in each departmental direction.

"[...] As in any family, the PNH has black sheep in its midst, but it is given itself the task of identifying them well to give them justice, without partiality, without a combination and without any unfair maneuver.

It is precisely to combat bad behavior that I have just signed the decision to appoint a police officer of integrity in each departmental directorate. It will be the representative of the General Inspectorate of the PNH within the limits of his department. An action that straddles Axis 1 and Axis 2 of the 2017-2021 strategic development plan.

Police officers of all ranks, know that when we give results and we systematically violate human rights, the second action neutralizes the first.

In the fight against banditry, we want targeted actions in partnership with the population. No carnage ! No blood bath ! No brutality ! We want to move forward but within the limits of the law and respect for human rights. This is also the professionalism."
