The Ministry of Public Health via the National Ambulance Center (CAN) represented by the Administrator of CAN Ernst Augustin and the Head of Department of Emergency Care, Dr. Exalus Jeanty Fils, proceeded to the pre-positioning of an ambulance fully equipped at the Pestel Health Center (Coral district, Grand'Anse Dept.)

This initiative of the Ministry of Public Health aims to meet the needs of pre-hospital emergency care of the 40,600 inhabitants of the municipality of Pestel.

Several personalities took part in this ceremony of remission among others : the Deputy Ronald Étienne (Consortium), the Departmental Director Dr. Angello Duvelson, the Administrator of the Health Center Espérance Espérance and the parish priest of St. Joseph, the Reverend Santa Claus Cédras.
