Friday, August 9, as part of the Haiti-Cuba cooperation, Marie Gréta Roy Clément, the Minister of Public Health accompanied by her chief of staff, Roody Mentor, some Central Directors and executives of the Training and Development Department in Health Sciences, awarded scholarship contracts to the 13 recipients who will leave the country for medical and nursing studies in Cuba.

Addressing her congratulations to the fellows, the Minister urged them to be the Ambassadors of Haiti to Cuba, to take their studies very seriously and to come back and put their new knowledge and skills at the service of Haiti.

Among these 13 fellows from different departments of the country, two of them will respectively specialize in pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology.
