iciHaiti - Taekwondo : A young 14-year-old Haitian medalist at the Cadet World Championship
As part of the First Edition of the Cadet World Taekwondo Championship, which ended on August 10 in Tashkent, Central Asia, Ryan Martine (14) from Les Cayes but living in California with his Haitian parents , won the bronze medal in the category of 41kg, after the victory of 4 of the 5 fights which it disputed in this Championship

Participating alongside 550 taekwondo athletes from nearly 50 countries, this medal has delighted the Haitian Taekwondo Federation (FHTKD) who does not spare his praise for this rising young Taekwondo star "We are negotiating with parents from Ryan so that he can come to Cap-Haïtien to participate in the 26th edition of the national taekwondo championship that will be held from August 23rd to 25th at the gymnasium of Cap-Haïtien" said the President of the FHTKD.

LFHT hopes that Ryan Martine will be able to participate in the next taekwondo championship to be held in 2020 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
