iciHaiti - Social : End of the program «Kore Lavi»

Care Haiti and the Ministry of Social Affairs carried out the closing ceremony of the first social safety net in Haiti, for the most vulnerable families, the National Program for Food Security and Nutrition "Kore Lavi" launched in September 2013 by the First Lady of the time Sophia Martelly https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-9546-haiti-social-launch-of-a-new-social-program-kore-lavi.html

More than 18,000 families, including 39,000 women in the food-insecure Northeast, South-East, Grand'Anse, West and Center, benefited from this US Government-funded program to the tune of 152 million gourdes since 2013.

Action Against Hunger, World Vision, the World Food Program (WFP), Care Haiti, the Ministry of Social Affairs, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Ministry of Women's Affairs and the Ministry of Public Health are the main institutions of the Consortium that have supported the Kore Lavi Program during the last 6 years.
