The young model Emmanuela Eva Michel (18), dancer of Haiti Tchaka Danse, won the final of the 8th edition of the Miss Haiti Caribbean contest as well as the title of photogenic Miss at Iguana Café, on the road to Canapé-Vert.

Following a coronation, Emmanuela was nominated to represent Haiti in the "Miss Earth" contest to be held next October in the Philippines.
