As part of the actions of the State to accompany parents on the occasion of the start of the school year scheduled Monday, September 9, the Directorate of the National High School of Pétion-ville, began this week the process of distribution of uniforms and school materials to several hundred high school students.

The first target group is for students in Fundamental Year 7, 8 and 9 who received school uniforms as a first step.

Jean-Marc Charles, the Director of the Lycée, was delighted with the smooth running of this operation which announces the resumption of school activities and thanked Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the Minister of National Education for his support to the realization of this operation which will somewhat relieve parents with heavy loads at each school year, especially in this difficult socio-economic.

He announces that this activity will continue this week with the distribution of textbooks and school kits
