The Ambassador of the Dominican Republic accredited to Haiti, Alberto Emilio Despradel Cabral, visited Normil Rameau, the new acting Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28605-haiti-security-installation-of-the-new-dg-of-the-pnh-and-advice-of-gedeon.html
The two men discussed several common issues related in particular to the security of both countries, including operational cooperation between Haitian and Dominican security forces, border control and security including smuggling and the fight against cross-border crime.
