The new acting Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Commander Rameau Normil https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28605-haiti-security-installation-of-the-new-dg-of-the-pnh-and-advice-of-gedeon.html received this week the visit of the Ambassador of France accredited in Haiti Jose Gomez.

The French diplomat, after having congratulated and wished Normil every success in his mission, addressed the question of the modernization of the PNH and especially mentioned the main programs of assistance that France intends to offer in support of the PNH.

These assistance programs include: operational support to gang suppression units; strengthening of the means of prevention and repression of cybercrime and technical support to the fight against drug trafficking and human trafficking...

It was also agreed that the two countries would continue and strengthen their cooperation, particularly in the priority area of officer and officer training.
