Saturday, on the sidelines of the 74th Ordinary Session of the General Assembly in New York, Chancellor Bocchit Edmond met with his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodríguez.

The two men discussed strengthening cooperation in the health and education sectors, as well as bilateral projects, including fisheries, water resources, construction and meteorology.

In his address to the United Nations, the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his solidarity with the Caribbean nations who demand a legitimate reparation for the consequences of slavery, as well as the fair and differentiated treatment they deserve.
