Faced with the rapid spread of flames, the arsonists fled and disappeared into the crowd of protesters. A start of fire that created panic within the institution where employees fearing for their lives hurriedly left the premises. The rapid intervention of agents of the National Police of Haiti and the population has helped prevent the spread of this fire to the entire building and circumscribe the damage.
