iciHaiti - Insecurity : Fire attempt at the premises of the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration

On Friday, demonstrators that protesting to demand the resignation of the Head of State attempted to burn down the entrance to the premises of the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration located at Avenue John Brown (Lalue).
Faced with the rapid spread of flames, the arsonists fled and disappeared into the crowd of protesters. A start of fire that created panic within the institution where employees fearing for their lives hurriedly left the premises.
The rapid intervention of agents of the National Police of Haiti and the population has helped prevent the spread of this fire to the entire building and circumscribe the damage.
