Laureates of the Fund for the Production of Contemporary African and Caribbean Dramaturgical Writing : "Des mots à la scène" (Words on the Stage) launched in July 2019 by the Institut Français at the Avignon Festival, were unveiled at the Festival Autumn Zebra in Limoges.

Funded by the French Ministry of Culture, this fund makes it possible to highlight the Southern authors little known or played by supporting the production of their texts. The objectives of this new system are multiple : it is to promote the staging of texts of young francophone authors by increasing the means of production and participate in the establishment of broadcast networks.

9 projects funded to the tune of 150,000 euros were selected including Haiti with "Les cinq fois où j’ai vu mon père" (The five times I saw my father) written and directed by Guy Régis Junio

On October 15, the Institut français will launch the second call for projects for the "Des mots à la scène" fund.
