Guterres said he was "concerned by the current political crisis and its consequences on the security and lives of Haitians" and urged all stakeholders to "engage in a real dialogue and prevent further escalation of violence that threatens to cancel the gains achieved in terms of stability" and calls on the Haitian National Police to carry out its task "in the respect of the people and their human rights."
