iciHaiti - Miss Panamerican 2019 : The Haitian Eden Berandoive crowned Miss Elegance 03/11/2019 08:55:08
Eden Berandoive (23 years old) with a degree in communication, from the town of Aquin, 3rd Dauphine of Miss Haiti 2019, who was one of the 8 finalists of this prestigious competition was crowned Miss Internet and Miss Elegance. For the ceremony, Eden Berandoive wore a costume made by Harry Lafond Haiti that paid homage to the "Queen Anacaona". Learn more about Anacaona : Anacaona born in 1474 in Yaguana (now Léogâne) and wife of Caonabo, marks her passage in history by her charisma, her beauty, her intelligence and especially her deep knowledge in poetry. She led a ruthless struggle against the conquistadores and died hanged in 1504 at the age of 29, condemned by Nicolás de Ovando the Governor of Hispaniola (1502-1509) because she had chosen death rather than cowardice.
