Sunday, November 10, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by the acting Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Rameau Normil, the Inspector General in Chief of the PNH, Ralph Stanley Jn Brice, the Central Director of the Judicial Police, Joany Canéus and the Central Director of the Administrative Police, Mario Obergiste, paid a visit to the Carrefour and Pétion-ville police stations to inquire about the conditions in which the police officers operate.

The opportunity for the Head of State to note the state of disrepair of the dormitories of the police.

At the end of this tour, President Moïse instructed acting Prime Minister Jean-Michel Lapin to take the emergency measures to remedy it and asked him, a complete report on the functioning of the police stations throughout the national territory to better meet the needs and working conditions of PNH agents.
