"[...] The Haitian Nation is facing a difficult period in its history. The US deplores the current blockage of the country, which is the direct cause of the violence, the significant increase in humanitarian needs and the interruption of the daily activities of the population...
We continue to encourage all political, economic and civil society actors to work together to find an inclusive dialogue without preconditions, urgently in the coming days, a non-violent and democratic solution led by Haitians."
