Monday to mid-day, after the floods of October https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29052-haiti-weather-petit-goave-underwater-calls-for-help.html and of september https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28794-haiti-flash-torrential-rains-petit-goave-and-ganthier-stricken-partial-assessment.html , several areas of Petit-Goâve: Rue Geffrard, Nan Bannann, Grand'Rue (Place Soulouque) and Ti Guinen, among others, were again flooded by the sudden floods of the Caïman and Figaro rivers.

This sudden flood following an intense but short rain once again demonstrates the fragility of the commune and highlights the increasing deterioration of the environment.
