Friday, November 15, with the decrease of mobilizations and tensions for a week in Haiti, the binational market of Ounaminthe - Dajabón (North-East of Haiti) took place under high military protection, with a large influx of merchants and Haitian and Dominican buyers in a heavily guarded border area because of the crisis in Haiti.

According to the commercial leader Carlos Polanco operating in the market of Dajabón, the situation was normal at midday with an intense commercial flow, without any incident, underlining that the Haitians took advantage of the lull in Haiti to move in large numbers despite the difficulties of moving in their country and buying both manufactured goods, agricultural products and foodstuffs.
