iciHaiti - Politic : USAID wants to make the Haitian Government more transparent

Tuesday, December 3, at the Hotel Montana (Pétion-ville), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), will launch the Project "GÉRÉ".
This Project supports local efforts to resolve fundamental issues for improving governance in Haiti at all levels. The overall objective of the "GÉRÉ" project is to help the Government of Haiti to become more transparent, more accountable and more responsive to citizens' needs in order to improve service delivery.
USAID's activities under this project were designed to inclusively bring together citizens, civil society organizations and the private sector to set priorities, in partnership with elected officials within the Haitian government. This initiative will build on the success and experiences of other projects, including LOKAL + and KONBIT.
