Under-Secretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale will visit the Bahamas on December 5 and in Haiti on December 6.

In Haiti, Deputy Secretary of State Hale will meet with President Jovenel Moïse, Foreign Minister Bocchit Edmond, and other political leaders.

On the agenda of the discussions : the urgent problems faced by Haiti, the need for an inclusive national dialogue and a functional government that can restore order, maintain the rule of law, create economic growth and serve the Haitian people.
