Tuesday, as part of the implementation of the policy of the Ministry of National Education in the education of people in need of special support, Joseph Frantz Nicolas, the Director General of the National Fund for Education (FNE), and Dr. Michel A. Péan, National Coordinator of the Haitian Society of Aid to the Blind (SHAA), signed, an agreement to support the schooling process of children and young people with special educational needs for an amount of a little more than 3.2 million Gourdes (3,277,180 Gdes)

This support will allow in particular to :

- Provide reception facilities for children and young people with disabilities with materials suitable for the use of disabled students;

- Support the school fees of needy disabled students;

- Support the production of adapted school books made available to blind students.
