Sunday, January 5, a patrol of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) foiled thanks to the help of the population, an attempt to kidnap of an American citizen and apprehended two individuals identified as Louis Pouchon and Pierre Eddy in Onaville (Croix-des-Bouquets).

At the time of their arrest, the two men were wearing badges of the Haitian Armed Forces and were armed with a 38-caliber and another 380-caliber pistol which were seized
