iciHaiti - Agriculture : Satisfaction of vegetables producers in the Center Department
During a follow-up visit carried out by the departmental coordination of the "Reinforcement of Public Agricultural Services" Project (RESEPAG) and the Ministry of Agriculture in the comunes of Hinche, Maïssade, Cerca-la-Source and Thomassique, the beneficiaries did not hide their satisfaction for the benefits of the project in this department with regard to support for vegetables gardening.
From July to December 2019, the Project distributed 191 pumps and supported producers of tomatoes, eggplant, cabbage, onions, peppers, peppers and bananas.
During this period, 800,000 US dollars was disbursed for this purpose. The beneficiaries took the opportunity to thank the Ministry of Agriculture which developed this project which is coming to an end and the World Bank which financed it.
