iciHaiti - DR : Haiti electoral observer in the Dominican municipal elections
The Dominican Central Election Commission (JCE) will receive from February 13 to 17, 118 international election observers from 20 countries, for the municipal elections of Sunday, February 16, 2020.

According to the JCE, the international observation mission will be composed of 40 representatives of the Inter-American Union of Electoral Organizations (UNIORE), 24 members of the Organization of American States (OAS), 6 members of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), 6 members of the Council of Electoral Experts of Latin America (CEELA), 15 academics and experts, 7 members of the Association of world electoral bodies and 20 members of the diplomatic corps.

At the same time, 5 representatives of the Central American Parliament and 21 guests from political parties will participate as international guests.

The observer countries that will accompany the Dominican Republic in this electoral process are : Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, the Republic of Korea, Uruguay and the United States.

In addition to observing the electronic voting process, the Haitian mission will observe during its stay the process of opening and closing electoral colleges, as well as the process of examining and disseminating the results.
